I Got My Eyes Back

  Happy Tuesday my loves, I'm so happy to be back on my blog and writing to you all with two eyes. The last two weeks have been very tough for my family and I. I don't know how to explain it all but I'm going to give it a try.  As you know, I have been suffering from an eye infection for over three months and was off and on with my primary ophthalmologist. After a couple weeks of treatment with my doctor, we both thought it was an allergic reaction to my contact lens solution. New York Days

Dear NYC, I can't believe I'm wearing shorts in the spring or do I always feel cold because I am of Africa? Ok seriously, last week was busy and fun. A few months ago, I got invited to be a panelist on the event called Creative and Cultivate. I know right, I was so honored to be speaking at this big women empowerment event and I couldn't wait for the day to come. Also, I love NYC when it's not winter. Say Hello To New Healthy Hair

  Like they say "The most important thing a woman can have(next to talent, of course) is her beautiful, healthy hair." I couldn't agree more. Our hair is our identity. Over the years, I have struggled with my hair to the point where I woke up one morning and went to the salon and had to cut it all off. Of course, I cried after the cut, I couldn't do it anymore with all the relaxing and breakage. This hair of mine has been through way too much - from the cut, to the colors to the extensions and more. How do I stay fit? This is a question I get all the time. I believe staying healthy and fit is a lifestyle choice. So I workout six times a week and rest on Monday or Friday depending on how I feel. Some weeks, I workout everyday and eat very healthy. I mixed up my workout as I get bored doing one type of workout routine for a while except yoga.
