Sundance With Chase Sapphire

From snow, film critics to movie stars, Sundance film festival was one of the best movie festival’s I have ever been to. I was lucky enough to be at my first Sundance with Chase Sapphire in beautiful Salt Lake City. Thanks to Chase for making this experience smooth and fun.
Here is a little guide to Sundance with Chase Sapphire.
First off, Sundance is very cold and it was snowing but beautiful so if you ever plan to go bring the right clothes and come to have fun.
There is lots going on at the Chase Sapphire Lounge. Most notably having cooking lessons with top chef Kristen Kish. She showed live how to take apart a lobster and make a delicious meal. She could also be found serving her signature donuts at the Chase food truck, which is my favorite part of this experience because I love food. I got the chance to hop inside and see how she makes them first hand. Very yummy.

Chase hosted various movie discussion panels at their lounge. An impressive one was for the movie “Yardie” which is Idris Elba’s directing debut. He talked at length how it took him nearly seven years to get this movie made and how it deals with the gang conflicts in Jamaica. Funny enough was to hear all the different accents of the actors playing the roles form English to Jamaican all at once. Because of the movie actually shooting in Jamaica the two opposing gangs really stoppped their conflict for a few weeks and agreed to a seize fire, a movie that it is about them.
Sundance Festival was very busy and the town is literally overrun from people of the movie industry. You can hear people talk about it in the street, the project they are selling or pitching.
Lots of fun are all the after parties we got to attend at the Chase House on Main. Chase hosted many of the movie stars having drinks and talks right next to you. A great treat.
As Chase Sapphire card holder you get all these great perks, which make attending the the festival a real joy. From access to the Lounge, special events, after parties , panels and the Sapphire Six Park City Guide which tells you about the best restaurants, bars and lounges to hang out.
That was my great trip to the Sundance Film Festival, let me know if you have ever been or plan to go yourself next time.
Thanks For Reading.
