I have been asked so many times how I survive my lifestyle. Work, school, blog, yoga and do I even sleep. To be honest, it’s not easy. It’s a lot of work, which includes staying up late sometime. When it comes to me sleeping over eight hours, I would say everyone is different, some people are just fine with sleeping less and some are not. If I sleep over eight hours like we are told, I’ll get nothing done and probably wouldn’t be writing to you at this moment. But yes I do sleep hahaha.
I have always worked since I moved to the United States and just decided to take a little break a few months ago to focus more on school and the blog. I love working and being in the hospital helping other makes me so happy and closer to achieving my future goals. So I’m hoping to return back to UCLA hopefully this summer or next year. Working, schooling and blogging comes with tough times and stress. There were days I felt like quitting it all and giving up, there were days I felt sad, unwanted, and antisocial. I felt disconnected like most people would but I always say to myself that I’m a strong woman and I can do whatever I want if I focus, work hard and think about what I want, not what I don’t want. I get up on those tough days and take a yoga class.
After every yoga class, I felt inspired again, happy and connected to my mind, body and soul. This is why I practice yoga 4-5 times a week. It helps me get rid of stress, it helps me think, it makes me happy, most importantly, it helps me love myself each and everyday. I can never imagine myself with out my practice and because of the impact yoga has on my life, I wanted it to do the same for other so I decided to become an instructor and I’ll be certified as a yoga instructor by the end of this year. My hope is to show the world how yoga changed my life, it took me for negative to very positive, made me stronger and I hope to help you someday Connect with your MIND, BODY AND SOUL.
