Like they say “The most important thing a woman can have(next to talent, of course) is her beautiful, healthy hair.“ I couldn’t agree more. Our hair is our identity. Over the years, I have struggled with my hair to the point where I woke up one morning and went to the salon and had to cut it all off. Of course, I cried after the cut, I couldn’t do it anymore with all the relaxing and breakage. This hair of mine has been through way too much – from the cut, to the colors to the extensions and more. I give up on my hair and turn it over to one of my best friends (she’s a hairstylist) to help taking care of it.
As a black woman, it’s hard to find products out there that really work for my hair, until I learned about Infusium’s latest offerings. To be honest, I was so excited to try the products because my best friend uses Infusium, and she loves the brand, but I wasn’t sure if it would repair and moisture my damaged hair or work for me. I decided to give it a try and I wasn’t disappointed at all.
Why Infusium works for me:
I used to relax my hair once a month to keep it from breaking and keep it straight; it has been two months and no relaxing for me. Impressive, right? Thanks,
The brand has two new collections out: The Repair + Renew and Moisturize + Replenish Collections. I’m currently treating my hair with the Moisturize + Replenish Collection, which has Avocado & Olive Oils (I’m obsessed), and helps hydrate and quench dry, dull strands. This is my favorite hair product because I used to have really dry hair and wasn’t very happy about it. There is something about dry hair that’s not very nice or healthy, but now my hair is soft, looks healthy and has a lot of volume. I also love the shine it adds to my hair, plus I don’t have to flat iron my hair if I don’t want to. To style, all I need is a few sprays of the Leave-In treatment before I blow dry, and I’m set to go. Check out the results in the images. Also, my boyfriend is in love with the smell of my hair and complements me on it a lot these days. Oh yea, I love the smell too. So clean and fresh.
The other collection, the Repair +Renew Collection, is formulated with Argan Oil and Keratin to help build strength and elasticity. I really want to grow out my hair and repair all those years of damages. So I’m excited about this collection and can’t wait to start using it next.
Infusium believes healthy hair begins with reliable haircare products that work, and I agree with that. If you have damaged and dry hair like I used to, say bye-bye to those issues and hello to healthy hair. The best part is Infusium is so affordable, it’s available at Walmart, Target and Walgreens nationwide ranging from $5.84-$8.99. So try it out and let me know what you think.
