Lets just say what a great experience it was being apart of New York Fashion Week especially when you have others to share it with. When I think of fashion week, I think of a lot of cool and amazing outfits, shows and changes. That’s just what it’s about. I love NYC, it’s so beautiful, lots of great locations and great people. It was cold, snowing, raining and I took me awhile to get used to it. Well I didn’t get used it at all but for the sake of fun and shows I was just fine with my frozen feet 😉

Since it was my very first fashion week, I wanted to learn how it works and what it was about so my friends and I did a lot of walking and exploring. The fun part is discovering that I don’t need to spent too much money to look great or have fun. Let’s face it, I’m still a student. So how fun will it be to wear your favorite pants in different ways.

I wore these pants twice for fashion week and it’s look amazing every time, all I had to do is change the tops and coats and you have a great new look. Oh and that orange top is my favorite of them all, it’s so bright and suits the NYFW colors. To add more colors to the top I paired it with this green navy jacket which took the look to a whole another level and a fishnet to keep me warm. The second time I wore this pants was at the J crew fashion show. How cute is this flower top and that statement sleeves is just to die for.

I did have to change my shoes a couple of times because we did some Walking and oh boy, I was freezing. Overall, I was able to spend less on my outfit and pay more attention to having fun and playing with colors. So the next time you think of Fashion Week, think creative because that’s all it takes. You don’t need to break the bank to have fun at Fashion Week. What did you wear for fashion week?

NYFW was quite the whirlwind. I'm surprised we didn't cross paths! You look so beautiful. I love the striped pants and fur coat combo. The large sleeves are gorgeous. I am so surprised you were able to get such amazing shots. It was so windy. I was being blown away on Day 1 and had to take cover. haha. Not pretty at all. Anyways, It sounded like you had an incredible time. Love your outfits.

Those trousers are extraordinary!! The vertical stripes make you look like you have legs for days! Love the way you paired it with a bright orange top. That pop of color is such a fabulous touch to the otherwise bleak and cold winter weather we had here in NYC!

I'm surprised you're still a student. All of your outfits look so luxe and classy! That's so great that you had the chance to attend NYFW this year for the first time. I still haven't been so I'm definitely just so curious how it must be like.

How exciting for you! I haven't been to NYFW yet but am hoping to go in the fall. I love that you wore the same pants twice but styled them so differently. The florals with the stripes is amazing and I also love the vibrant tiered ruffle sleeve sweater. Such killer looks! Xoxo, Christine

I agree with you that you neither have to break the bank nor wear new outfits every day (although, your pants are so versatile they created new outfits by pairing them with all the things you did), but I must admit I'm kinda biased saying that as I always have like 3 suitcases whenever I go to Fashion Weeks, haha. Hopefully one less suitcase in the summertime though as I won't need as much to keep me warm. :)
