First of all, I want to say happy Thanksgiving, I hope you all have a good time. Also, thanks a lot for the birthday wishes It meant a lot to me. I just love laying in my bed and reading all the nice words and the love notes that was sent to me. Thank you! thank you! Yesterday wasn’t just my birthday but my dad’s as well and oh man.. I miss him so much. I haven’t seen my father in almost 9 years as he is still in Africa. Over the course of 9 years I missed him a lot, mostly on our birthday days. I remember I used to wake up every November 25th and run to his room to wake him up first just to say “HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAY, I WAS FIRST TO SAY IT!!” hahaha. I would watch his reaction (the one I’ll never get tired of) and he would hug me and tell me happy birthday and that he loves me, his only baby girl. But since I left African leaving him behind, it have been very hard on the both of us, we both make sure we talk to each other every time but for now, we hope to spend our birthdays together next year.
Just like my father would do on his birthday, I had a relaxed birthday yesterday. I tried to sleep in since I almost never do. But I ended up waking up early anyways, it was still an 8 hour sleep though. I woke up, FaceTimed with my love ones on the phone, went to sweat garage, one of my favorite workout spots in LA and got my butt kicked!! Yea!! what a nice way to start the birthday right? I went out for some brunch and went to get a massage after at this breathtaking massage spot in West Hollywood that I found online called The How. At night I had a little surprise dinner put together for me. Thanks to my partner in crime for the low key night. I had fun and loved everything about Il Cielo. The restaurant is beautiful and so romantic. They had flowers (red roses) on the table, beautiful set up, the love was in the air. If you ever looking for a romantic and nice place to take your loved one or friends, I totally recommend it. I was so tired after dinner and came home to rest.
So back to fashion, it’s a little cold in LA today and I’m leaving for Palm Springs as well. I wanted to share with you some of my new holiday colors and my new coach bag. I have a thing for turtle neck dresses and blouse so you guys will be seeing a lot of that. I’m wearing this beautiful but simple Zara tube dress to match my new coach bag. This bag it’s a one of a kind, I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. With its multi color you can do some much with it and it works wearing it with a lot of different outfits. I’m always looking for items that can fit with more than just one of my outfit and I found it. I have put together this simple holiday outfit and I hope you like the image. Let me know what you think of the colors guys.
Have a happy Thanksgiving again, sending you love from on the road.
