It hasbeen such a crazy few days you guys, I feel like since I got back from Europe I got hit by so much work and school. That happens right? It’s called life; I keep telling myself that. Some of you beautiful people have asked me how I managed my school with my blogging life and I have some answers for you.

Firstly, once you have passion for something, that alone keeps you moving forward. Honestly, at first it was so hard to balance it all especially with all the other distraction around me. The first thing I had to do was to keep focus on my goal and not what I don’t want to happen. Once I was focused, everything started to fall in place. How do I achieve such focus? I’ll give lots of thanks to my yoga practice. It kept me in line with my goals, it keeps me believing in myself and made me so strong. I realized what happens to my mind and body when I stop practicing for a couple of days. I get all these set backs and I know I just have to go back to my practice. That’s where consistency comes in. You have to be consistent in everything when you decide to live a certain lifestyle. I wake up 6-7am almost every morning  and am on it so I have time for some fun with friends or a long workout at the gym. I set times and schedules to me help me everyday and some days I have to change it up but it’s almost always by time and schedule especially with all the school work I have to do. Trust me when I say, I have so much school work to do, it’s not as easy as it looks.

Lastly, you have to take breaks. I have been working and schooling so much and forgot to take a break. Last week I got hit so hard by the result of not resting and giving myself some time off and that wasn’t a get feeling. So I decided to take a break from all social media platforms and just breathe. I had to go back to being me again which is motivated, energetic and fun. You will feel that and when you do, I advise giving yourself some time off. When I take my break, I also will leave my phone home or in my bag when am out and at school. I remember for a whole day I was off my phone and oh that was a great feeling. We sometimes get so caught up on your devices and we think we have to have them with us every second but the truth is, it’s not really necessary. They drain everything out of you most of the time and it’s very distracting. I’m not saying you should get rid of your phones, all I’m saying is, if you really want to be good at what you do in life, you have to set goals for yourself and know how to balance things in your life. Give yourself some time off from the crazy world we live in and see how amazing that’s going to feel.

Today’s look was taken a little after my break, my mind was all clear and I saw so much beauty in these colors again. I’m such a big fan of mixing colors and textures and I just love these combination. During my break, I went to visit my favorite street Abbot Kinney in Venice. I haven’t been here in awhile and I realize how much I missed the life on this street. It’s such a prefect fall Abbot’s come back outfit right?

Beautiful pictures I just finish my second degree all while working full time and school fulltime and being a single parent to a teenager it wasn't easy but I agree with you time management is key. When you focus on the longterm goal it gets easier and remember why you started in the first place. Keep up the good work I love your IG.
